Monroe (MI) Corps Food Pantries Information

Here in Michigan, one out of six children faces food insecurity.

The Salvation Army works to ensure that every member of our community has the food they need to thrive. If you face hunger, we want you to know that you are not alone.

How we help cure hunger

We help cure hunger daily by providing nutritious meals to anyone in need. Many of our activities also include a fresh meal at no charge.

God Works Meal

Saturday at 6:00 pm.

We hold a hot meal for anyone who needs one. Our doors are open to anyone. Contact our office at 734-241-0440 if you need any more information.

Food Pantry

Groceries are available 6 times a year on Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday. Guests must wait 30 days between visits. Application time will close 10 minutes before 12 pm. and 4 pm.*

*Bread and misc. Items are available in our lobby during regular hours. Guests are asked to sign for these items at the reception desk. This is separate from what you receive as groceries.

After School Drop In

Our after-school drop-in program offers a healthy snack for children. Our character-building classes offer a meal. See more about our youth programs by clicking here.

At The Salvation Army, we know that one of the first results to occur in times of crisis is food insecurity. We are is dedicated to eliminating food insecurity by serving anyone in need. By providing hunger relief programs and services, The Salvation Army is committed to accommodating all those in need without unlawful discrimination or harassment based on age, race, color, religion, sex, national origin, marital status, disability, citizenship, sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression, or any other characteristic in accordance with our capacity to help.
