Meet our Team!

The Salvation Army Kalamazoo Citadel Corps is a church first! Our message is based on the Bible. Our ministry is driven by the love of God. Our mission is to preach the gospel of Jesus Christ and to meet human needs in His name without discrimination. We do so in the following ways:

·      Congregational Life: We are a congregation that meets weekly for Sunday morning church services and Sunday School classes for all ages. We have a weekly Adult Tuesday Night Bible Study (childcare is provided for 0-5th grade). Youth faith-based Character Building on Tuesday nights from 4:30-6 pm. 

·      Assistance: We provide food assistance through our pantry, as well as utility and rental assistance. 

·      Senior ministries: We offer social and fellowship experiences for area seniors on the third Tuesday of the month from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. 

·      Youth programming: we offer a two-day-a-week, Wednesday and Thursday, after-school drop-in from 4:30 - 6 pm, as well as programs when KPS has days off, school breaks, and summer break. 

Our staff supports our congregational ministry, social services, and community ministries Monday through Sunday.
