Pathway of Hope
Livingston County Corps Pathway of Hope Information
At The Salvation Army Livingston County Corps Community Center, we believe that every family deserves the basics for human survival. When low-income and impoverished families struggle to make ends meet, we’re here to lend a helping hand with the Pathway of Hope program. Through our initiative, we help families break away from the cycle of generational poverty and equip them with the tools and resources they need to reach their goals for a better future.
When families in Livingston County struggle to overcome challenges like unemployment, lack of education, and unstable housing, the Pathway of Hope program can help them take action to meet their needs and achieve their full potential. Our staff is prepared to support families in need on a path toward stability and self-sufficiency for more successful, fulfilling lives.

Resources and Connections
The Salvation Army begins the journey by pairing you with a compassionate caseworker, who will map out a personalized plan tailored to the needs of your family. After developing a plan of action, you can access a number of resources we offer at The Salvation Army, plus additional services that are available within the community. These services include job training, healthcare, childcare and education, housing options and legal assistance. Our caseworkers can also connect you with services that provide additional support, like spiritual and holistic programs, and can keep you on the right track. In the months ahead, we’ll chart your progress within the Pathway of Hope program, acknowledging your success and motivating you to continue toward achieving your goals. At the six-month mark of the program, we’ll evaluate what the next best step is for you and your family, whether this means adjusting your goals or developing new ones. Though overcoming adversity can be challenging, we’re here for you every step of the way to help you build a stronger future for you and your family.
