Hunger Services at Livingston County Corps

The Salvation Army is dedicated to alleviating hunger in our community. Our local office operates community food pantries to provide nutritious food to individuals and families in need. We understand the challenges that food insecurity can pose in this area, and we're committed to providing a helping hand.

Our food pantries offer a variety of food items, including canned goods and nonperishable staples. Some even offer fresh produce. We work closely with local partners to ensure that we can provide a diverse selection of food to meet the unique needs of our community.

By providing access to nutritious food, we aim to improve the health and well-being of the neighbors we serve. We believe that everyone deserves to have access to the nourishment they need to thrive.

Food Pantry

The pantry is often able to provide fresh vegetables, fruit, and dairy products, like milk, yogurt and other items as they are donated.

Pantry is by appointment only. Please call 517-546-4750 to schedule an appointment, no walk in's will be accepted.

How You Can Help
You can make a difference in the fight against hunger by:

  • Volunteering: Volunteer your time to help with food distribution, meal preparation, or other tasks.

  • Donating: Your gift helps us provide food and other essential services to those in need.

    • Contact Nicole Moor at 517-295-4342 for all Monetary donations.
  • Donating Food: Donate nonperishable food items to our local Salvation Army food pantry.

At The Salvation Army, we know that one of the first results to occur in times of crisis is food insecurity. We are is dedicated to eliminating food insecurity by serving anyone in need.
