How we help equip families
Helping a family thrive starts by ensuring their basic needs are met, then walking alongside them on the path out of poverty. Our Pathway of Hope program does just that, through long-term case management for families with children under the age of 18. We also come alongside families by providing space for them to do life together at our Detroit Temple community center. Families receive the physical, emotional, and spiritual support they need through our programs to foster better, brighter futures together. For children, this includes our after-school program, a safe place to play, summer camp, and more. For adults, this includes help with utility payments, a food pantry, free hot meals, and fellowship opportunities through our Men's, Women's, and Senior Ministries.
We also have family-centered activities, including:
Family Fun Night
Family Fun Night takes place on the 3rd Friday of each month from 6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. Activities include movies, board games, karaoke, food, fellowship, and more.
Sunday Worship
10:00 am - Sunday School
Bible-based teaching with interesting classes for all age groups.
11:00 am - Worship Service
Our traditional worship service is where God is exalted, and people are edified.
Movie Night
Movie Night takes place weekly on Thursday from 5:30 pm to 7:00 pm It is open to all ages.
