Battle Creek Corps Surpasses Fund Raising Goal
Battle Creek Salvation Army Surpasses Campaign Goal
Thank you to everyone who helped us surpass our campaign goal! The Salvation Army's 2025Red Kettle Campaign raised a total of $114,720, and the overall 2025 Christmas Campaign raised $352,639. We are very happy to have surpassed our goal of $300,000. We have been blessed!
A celebration of achievements with individual volunteers and service clubs who attended our awards celebration on Jan.26th were awarded with certificates of thanks that shared the amounts raised by each. We recognized volunteer bell ringers who raised the most, with 1st place going to Perry Beard, who raised $1383, 2nd place going to the Pierce Family, who raised $1247, and 3rd place going to Shelby Robertson, who raised $1096 for The Salvation Army.
The coveted Golden Kettle, in recognition of the efforts of all service clubs, was awarded to the joint efforts of six Rotary Clubs of Calhoun and Barry Counties, who collectively raised $13,921.25 in the kettle campaign. Representatives from the Delton Area Rotary Club, Battle Creek Rotary Club, Marshall Rotary Club, Cereal City Sunrise Rotary Club, Albion Rotary Club, and Hastings Rotary Club were on hand to receive the trophy, which will be kept at each of the Rotary Clubs for two months and shared amongst the winners – just like the Stanley Cup! Previous winners have included the Masons of Ira A. Beck Lodge (2022), American Legion Post 257 (2023), and the American Legion Posts 257 & 298 (2024). The overall standings amongst Golden Kettle competitors are seen in the following table.
