How we help combat addiction
For over 100 years, The Salvation Army's Adult Rehabilitation Centers and Harbor Light Programs have offered spiritual, emotional, and social assistance to those who have lost the ability to cope with their problems and provide for themselves. Our free programs provide housing, food, counseling, community, and employment as we work to treat the symptoms and ultimately the root causes of prolonged alcohol and drug dependence.
Harbor Light
Harbor Light provides a safe and supportive environment for individuals and families looking to recover from substance abuse. In our care, you will have a team of people helping you every step of the way. Take action now and achieve the fulfillment of your dreams of a healthy and happy life.

Adult Rehabilitation Centers
One in 11 Michigan adults is addicted to drugs or alcohol. At The Salvation Army Southeast Michigan Adult Rehabilitation Center (ARC), we are dedicated to helping you rebuild your life through a holistic, residential, faith-based program that replaces self-defeating habits with more productive and meaningful activities. With two campuses, a men's center in Detroit and a women's facility in Romulus, we have the capacity to help more than 400 people simultaneously.
