The Salvation Army is an evangelical part of the universal Christian Church. Our message is based on the Bible, our ministry is motivated by the love of God, and our mission is to preach the gospel of Jesus Christ as we meet human needs in His name without discrimination. Every program we offer is rooted in our passion to serve God by serving the lost, the vulnerable, the needy, the poor, the hurting, the helpless, and the hopeless.
Activities
Sunday:
9:45 - Adult Bible study meets over coffee (and often home-baked goods) on Sunday morning at 9:45 for an informal discussion on life and culture from a Biblical perspective.
10:45 - Worship is at 10:45 with a mix of new songs and classic hymns, solid Bible preaching, and prayer.
Wednesday:
6:00 - A topical Bible Study group meets on Wednesday at 6p.m. with singing, prayer, and lively discussions of God’s Word.
7:00 - Men’s and Women’s groups meet at 7p.m. for fellowship, games, educational activities and more.
Each of these is an opportunity to see God’s love in action through service, friendship, and worship, and everyone is welcome any time.
