We're committed to a drug-free community 

Overdoses are becoming a daily occurrence in our Tippecanoe Emergency Rooms. We're prepared to fight this epidemic through our Adult Rehabilitation Centers. We partner with Adult Rehabilitation Centers in Chicago, Ft. Wayne and Indianapolis.  There is hope for a new, drug-free life and we can help get you there. 

 

How we help combat addiction.

We're in the fight to help end substance use disorder in Tippecanoe. Here's how:  

Addressing Behavioral Health in Youth: "An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure"  
We know that behaviors that manifest later in life often start with beliefs in early lie. Through curriculum like "Understanding my Teen Brain" and through the Salvation Army's Christian Education Programs called Character building (centralyouthnetwork.com) we address issues of behavioral health by teaching children and youth make good choices that lead to a drug-free life.

​​​​​Our Partnership with The Salvation Army's Adult Rehabilitation Center's in The Midwest: 
The Adult Rehabilitation Center is a faith-based, work therapy, in patient treatment center. We partner with the Adult Rehabilitation Centers in Chicago, Ft. Wayne and Indianapolis. Last year alone 17 Tippecanoe County Residents successfully graduated from the ARC in Indianapolis. Learn more about these programs here.

The Salvation Army Harbor Light Center of Indianapolis, Indiana, has been instituted by The Salvation Army to help those who are motivated to accept treatment, overcome their addiction to alcohol and/or other drugs. The ultimate aim of The Salvation Army Harbor Light Center program is to provide quality spiritual, physical, mental, and social rehabilitation to all who accept this specialized help.
