Caring for the needs of seniors in our community

The Salvation Army Eagle Creek Corps Community Center's Senior Services

At The The Salvation Army Eagle Creek Corps Community Center, we dedicate ourselves to serving seniors in our community. We believe that everyone deserves to live with dignity and purpose. And we feel that the participation and inclusion of older adults within our communities is a benefit to all.

Our goal is to enable seniors to maintain and strengthen their connections to the community. We provide practical assistance, emotional support, and spiritual guidance to help older adults overcome challenges and further enrich their lives. If you're an older adult seeking companionship, assistance with daily tasks, or simply a friendly face, we're here to support you.

Booth Manor

The Salvation Army Booth Manor in Indianapolis, IN, is low-income housing for senior citizens. Booth Manor is conveniently located next to our Eagle Creek Corps building, allowing residents to easily participate in our programs and services.

Senior Lunch

Senior Lunch

Lunch is served following Women's and Men's Ministry on Thursdays at 11:30a and is open to members of the community as well as the residents who live in Booth Manor (Senior Living Center apart of our campus). This lunch provides an opportunity for seniors to gather around the table for food and fellowship, building an environment of encouragement and support. We are looking for volunteers to come and provide and/or serve lunch. Additionally, there is an opportunity to provide a continuous time of fellowship following dinner as we are looking for volunteers to host bingo, sing-a-longs, and other activities.

The Salvation Army passionately invites senior citizens into relationships with others through our many senior centers and eldercare programs. To help combat the loneliness, depression, and loss of independence that often accompany old age, we provide group dining experiences, coordinated activities, visit the homebound, and offer residential assistance for older adults in need of a senior living community
