Rockford Temple Corps Community Center Youth Services Information

The Salvation Army is committed to empowering young people and providing them with opportunities to thrive. Our local youth programs offer a variety of activities and services designed to inspire, educate, and support young people. Our dedicated local staff and volunteers are committed to creating a safe haven to play sports, learn music, gain new skills and nurture their talents.

We understand the challenges young people in our community are facing today. Many youth who participate in these programs may not otherwise have access to such opportunities. Through mentoring, tutoring, summer camp, music programs, and recreational activities, we strive to help young people in our area reach their full potential.

How you can help:

  • Volunteer: Share your time and talents to mentor young people.
  • Donate: Support our programs and help us provide essential services.
  • Spread the Word: Share our mission and encourage others to get involved.

By working together, we can make a positive impact on the lives of young people in our community.

The Salvation Army provides week-long summer camp options for youth, teens and seniors with a different theme each week.

Camp offers an immersive experience where young adventurers embark on a journey through God’s creation and His Word. With a variety of activities ranging from adventurous hikes in the woods to spirited campfire games, every moment is infused with excitement and wonder. Safety is our top priority, and our dedicated camp staff ensures the well-being of each child as they explore, learn, and create lifelong memories.
