Holiday Giving
Jacksonville, IL Corps Holiday Giving Information
The Salvation Army brightens the holiday season for those in need through:
Red Kettles
These iconic red kettles signal the start of the holiday season. Donations collected in these buckets support the services in your neighborhood. Bell ringers are both seasonal employees and volunteers. From October 1 - January 31st, join the Fight for Good by donating through our Online Red Kettle or explore Bell Ringing opportunities.
Angel Tree
When you're struggling financially to care for your family, holiday gifts are often not feasible. The Salvation Army Angel Tree program allows donors to purchase gifts and clothes for families in need, making their holidays brighter.
Holiday Meals
The Salvation Army provides Thanksgiving and Christmas meals for families unable to create a special meal themselves. We host homemade dinners at our facility and provide a Christmas dinner box to struggling families. Each box feeds a family of six and includes meat, potatoes, stuffing, vegetables, biscuits, cake mix and more.
Holiday times are tough when you can't afford a meal or gifts.
Help brighten the holidays for millions of American families who cannot afford to buy their kids Christmas presents.
