Nampa Corps Community Center Youth Services Information

Youth Services at Nampa Corps Community Center

The Salvation Army is committed to empowering young people and providing them with opportunities to thrive. At the Nampa Salvation Army, we offer a number of youth programs,  activities and services designed to inspire, educate, and support young people.

Homework Assistance

At The Salvation Army Nampa Corps, we provide assistance to help kids of all ages with schoolwork, study guidance, and literacy advancement through our After-school program. Depending on the school they attend, we may even be able to pick them up after school!

For more information, or to sign your kids up for the 2023/24 school year, please e-mail Sarah Buck at sarah.buck@usw.salvationarmy.org.

Music Classes

The Salvation Army offers piano lessons at both the beginner and intermediate level. For more information, please contact Sarah Buck at Sarah.buck@usw.salvationarmy.org.

Troops Scouting Program

The Salvation Army has scouting groups for all ages: Moonbeams in Pre K-K, Sunbeams for girls in First through Fifth grades, Girl Guards for Sixth grade and up, Adventure Corps for boys in First grade and up. The goal is to help youth develop positive social and communication skills, decision making skills, and character and leadership skills. They will experience various subjects for which they can earn badges in areas such as cooking, art, sports, safety, and more. It's a place they can learn life skills and make lifelong friends in a safe and love environment. Please email Sarah Buck at sarah.buck@usw.salvationarmy.org for more information. Groups are held on Wednesday's at 4 PM.

Orange Sundays

We provide small groups for all ages on Sunday mornings to develop faith, support discipleship and encourage healthy relationships with God and others. Through engaging activities and Bible-based lessons, we learn more about God in a loving and fun atmosphere. Join us Sunday mornings at 11 am!

After-School
We provide care from 3:00 - 6:30 p.m. during the school year. Most schools drop off at our facility in the Nampa School District. We provide free time, snack, STEM projects once a month from the Nampa Library, reading time & we will help with homework. We follow the Nampa School District schedule and will be open on certain school closure days for all day care.

For more information, please contact Sarah Buck at sarah.buck@usw.salvationarmy.org
