About The Salvation Army Youth Center
Programs & Services
The Salvation Army Youth Center (SAYC) serves approximately 250 children each year, with a safe and positive environment to grow and build relationships with others.
Children must be registered by a parent or legal guardian. Registration forms are available at our main office (89 Franklin St., Waterloo) during normal operating hours. Applications require contact information, school information, as well as any health or special needs information if applicable.
Parents/Guardians will receive notice of positive or negative behavior that their child exhibits while attending programs at the SAYC. These can include getting rewards during activities or being dismissed for the day due to poor conduct or actions.
All facilities are alcohol and drug free. All students must be respectful of peers, staff, and The Salvation Army’s building and program supplies. Violence, theft, foul language, drama, and other inappropriate behavior will not be tolerated and may lead to termination of services.
