FIGHTING FOOD INSECURITY

Food insecurity is a major issue in the Des Moines area.  That’s why we offer a free cupboard where people in need can stop by and pick up nonperishables and other food items. 

The cupboard is located here at Des Moines Citadel Corps (1216 E. 25^th Ct.) and is open from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Monday through Friday.  Also at that same location, we offer free lunches Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays between 11:30 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. – dine-in only.
