The Salvation Army of the QCA has many different volunteer opportunities all year long.

Why be a volunteer?

It is a chance to make a difference in the community while learning, creating new relationships and finding a purpose.

The Salvation Army of the QCA has many different volunteer opportunities all year long. Starting from school aged and older, you can sign up to be a volunteer today!

  • Bell Ringers: Located all around the Quad Cities, there are plenty of locations to fit your schedule! We are looking for enthusiastic individuals to ring bells, greet customers, open doors, and thank sincerely those who contribute to our Red Kettle Campaign.
  • Angel Trees: We need a vibrant personality who will help individuals who have questions about Angel Trees, help them find and Angel Tree tag, and thank them sincerely when they drop of their donation.
  • Disaster Relief Efforts: The Salvation Army is there when disaster effects our community. From filling sandbags to delivering food, volunteers are vital to helping us meet the needs of those in the QC when disaster strikes.
  • Events: Our yearly events always need a helping hand: Donut Day, Salvation Army Week, Stuff the Bus, Project Bundle up and many more!
  • And Much More: We always have something that we need help with around the community or Family Service Center. Please contact us to see what our volunteer opportunities are throughout the year!
