By helping families overcome challenges like unemployment, unstable housing, and lack of education, we can lead families down a path toward increased stability and, ultimately, self-sufficiency.

The Pathway of Hope Approach Includes:

  • Catalyzing community collaboration in service of shared clients
  • Moving families from crises and vulnerability to stability and eventually self-sufficiency, tracking family progress along the way
  • Bringing all The Salvation Army?s internal resources to bear, aligned to the goals of clients
  • Focus on hope as a measured outcome, which represents the distinctly relational, spiritual outcome that The Salvation Army seeks in the work it does
  • Strengths-based case management services
Pathway of Hope Makes a Difference!

Pathway of Hope Makes a Difference!

Ashley has three daughters. She entered Pathway of Hope in the spring of 2018 and has come such a long way! She experienced a house fire and lost many of her belongings which landed her in shelter. She temporarily lost custody of her two oldest daughters due to not having a stable place to live. She's worked hard within the last 6 months and found housing and has a part time job, volunteers at her church regularly, attends tutoring classes with her daughters and next month her children will be returned to her.
