Salvation Army "More Than a Coat" Collection 2025

About the event

Donate new and gently used winter outerwear for our neighbors in need this winter! Coats, boots, insulated gloves, snow pants, hats, and scarves will be accepted on Monday, October 13 at The Salvation Army 20 First Avenue NE in Rochester, MN. All items collected will be distributed on the Wednesday and Thursday of that week. 

The Salvation Army will also collect outerwear at the Rochester Hy-Vee stores October 6-11. Please look for the labeled bins in the entryway of the Hy-Vee closest to you. 

Coats for older children and XL sizes for adults are in high demand. As are warm, waterproof ski gloves and boots.
