Please join us for our annual Red Kettle Kick-Off on November 9, 2024. The event will start at 2 p.m. at the Hobby Lobby location in Rockford (6640 E. State Street). Join us for music and refreshments as we launch our biggest fundraiser of the year!
Ringing The Salvation Army bell and collecting donations is a simple yet powerful way to make a difference in our community. Donations in the Red Kettle stay local—directly impacting the lives of your neighbors by helping them in times of need. When you ring the bell, you’re making change happen.
Our iconic Red Kettles will be out in the community at 20 Winnebago County locations from November 8, 2024 through December 24, 2024. Time slots for bell ringers are available from 10:00 a.m.–6:00 p.m., Mondays through Saturdays. Register to ring today by visiting registertoring.com.
By volunteering even just two hours of your time, you can raise enough money to feed a family of four for an entire week.
Simply sign up for a date, time, and location that’s convenient for you. A kettle and bell will be at your location when you arrive. If there is already a ringer there, just let them know you are the next scheduled volunteer and take over for them. Then, start ringing with a smile!
