OUTDOOR MOVIE NIGHT FUNDRAISER FEATURING UNIVERSAL PICTURES AND DREAMWORKS ANIMATION STUDIOS “THE BAD GUYS” SUPPORTS STRUGGLING NEIGHBORS CRITICAL NEEDS

The Salvation Army of Petoskey is hosting an Outdoor Movie Night fundraiser in support of its programs and services designed to aid many struggling local individuals and families. Universal Pictures and Dreamwork Studios “The Bad Guys” will be shown on Saturday, September 13th at the Community Center located at 2350 Mitchell Park Drive in Petoskey. Please bring you own chairs and blankets. The concession stand opens at 7:30PM and the movie begins at 8:00PM. The PG rated family movie is FREE; however, donations are always appreciated.

Donations and concession proceeds support essential needs such as heat, rent, and utilities year-round. It also supports child and senior programs, community meals, meal deliveries to mobility impaired and food pantry. No one applying for assistance is approved or denied services based on faith, gender, orientation, nationality or any other forms of discrimination.

“The winter chill is coming” says Envoy Roman Hank. “With the high rate of inflation parents are struggling to afford the basic household essentials like energy bills and rent while having enough to put food on the table, provide clothing and school supplies and put gas in their vehicles to get to work and school. Those families need our help now”.

To give, please visit SAPetoskey.org online and click on “Donate Now” or drop-off or mail checks to The Salvation Army of Petoskey’s Community Center office located at 2350 Mitchell Park Drive, Petoskey, MI 49770.
