Holiday Toy Shop and Food Distribution

About the event

The Salvation Army sets up a Toy Shop every holiday season to help families is need with toys, food and other essentials. To prepare for upcoming "shopping" tours, volunteers decorate our large warehouse area, turning it into a festive holiday space. Volunteers set up the shop - arranging toys by age and interest.  This allows for order and functionality when families come to “gift shop” for their children. 

Volunteers are also needed during the shop's open hours to help families with tours and shopping assistance. Helping others pick out toys and gifting them with free food bags is a heart-warming experience!  Email Maureen at maureen.hill@use.salvationarmy.org to learn more about volunteering or getting toy assistance.
