Celebrate Advent Together 2026

Celebrate Advent Together
Christmas is more than a day on the calendar. It's an opportunity to slow down, spend time together, and discover the wonderful story of Jesus' birth.
Advent is the season leading up to Christmas, when we prepare our hearts to celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ, our Savior. Whether this is your family's first Advent or a tradition you've enjoyed for years, we invite you to experience the hope, peace, joy, love, and light of Christmas together.
We've gathered five free resources filled with simple ways to read, pray, create, and connect as a family. No special experience needed. Just make a little room in your day for what matters most.
From November 29th through Christmas Eve, count down 25 days of Advent together. Each day brings a new opportunity to read Scripture, talk about the Christmas story, and share a fun family activity as you prepare to celebrate Jesus' birth.
Throughout the Advent season, Salvation Army centers that offer worship services will host special Advent services. Your family is warmly invited to join us! Come worship with us, sing the carols of Christmas, and celebrate the hope that Jesus brings.

You don't have to do every activity or have all the answers. Read a story, say a prayer, ask a question, or simply enjoy being together. Our hope is that these moments help your family discover more of God's love and the beautiful gift of Jesus.
Wishing you and your family a blessed Advent and a Merry Christmas!
