The Salvation Army is committed to empowering young people and providing them with opportunities to thrive. Our local youth programs offer a variety of activities and services designed to inspire, educate, and support young people.
We understand the challenges and opportunities facing young people in our community today. Our dedicated local staff and volunteers are committed to creating a safe and positive environment where young people can learn, grow, and develop important life skills. Through mentoring, tutoring, summer camp, music programs, and recreational activities, we strive to help young people in our area reach their full potential.

Location: Monterey Peninsula Corps Community Center
We provide safe, supportive housing options for families experiencing or at risk of homelessness.

Emergency Housing: Available for families with at least one child under 18. Families are housed in private studio-style apartments for up to 90 days.

Transitional Housing: A longer-term program (up to two years) for eligible families. Participants receive intensive case management through The Salvation Army’s Pathway of Hope approach, designed to build stability and lasting transformation.
