Income & Eligibility Requirements
Utility Assistance

SMUD Energy Help – Must have a shut-off notice (grey envelope).

PG&E – Must have either a 15-day or 48-hour notice.
Housing Assistance

Rental Assistance – Requires a 3-day pay or quit notice.

Move-In Assistance – Must provide a signed rental agreement or a move-in letter from the property.

Emergency Lodging/Motel Assistance – Must have a pending transition into housing or a referral from a community agency.
Who Qualifies

Seniors, individuals with disabilities, low-income or no-income households, and homeless households in Sacramento County.
