The Salvation Army Imperial Valley Corps Music Program offers a vibrant and engaging learning experience for children interested in brass instruments. Our approach is flexible, personalized, and designed to help each student succeed while fostering creativity and confidence.
Key features that make this program special include:
Personalized Instruction – We tailor lessons to each student’s learning style, skill level, and pace, ensuring they feel supported and challenged in their musical journey.
Encouragement of Talent and Creativity – We celebrate both new and experienced musicians, helping participants discover hidden abilities and develop existing skills.
Teamwork and Performance Opportunities – Through ensemble rehearsals, group activities, and live performances, students learn the value of teamwork while building stage confidence.
By participating, children gain more than musical skills—they develop discipline, self-expression, teamwork, and a sense of accomplishment that can inspire hope and open doors to new opportunities.
The Salvation Army Imperial Valley Corps Music Program is open to children in the community who are 8 years of age or older and wish to learn a new skill or strengthen existing musical abilities.
We encourage participants to bring:
- A willingness to learn.
- A commitment to practice.
- A team-oriented attitude.
