The Salvation Army is committed to empowering young people and providing them with opportunities to thrive. Our local youth programs offer a variety of activities and services designed to inspire, educate, and support young people.
We understand the challenges and opportunities facing young people in our community today. Our dedicated local staff and volunteers are committed to creating a safe and positive environment where young people can learn, grow, and develop important life skills. Through mentoring, tutoring, summer camp, music programs, and recreational activities, we strive to help young people in our area reach their full potential.
Weekly Music Lessons, Summer Camps, Weekend Youth retreats, Kicks and Kuts (back-to-school shoes and haircuts), Winter Wardrobe shopping spree, Boys to Men (day camp teaching life essentials to adolescent boys), and Mentorship are just some of the programs we offer to young people at The Salvation Army in Chico.
