This is what
Christmas
can do.
Unwrapping joy. Sharing hope.
A little joy goes a long way
Sometimes, something as simple as a new toy, warm clothes, or a special gift from your wishlist can mean so much more. For a child in Dothan, it can bring excitement on Christmas morning. For a parent or guardian, it can bring relief during an already stressful season.
Because a little joy
can travel far.
Counting our blessings
Every number tells a story. Together, they show what happens when Dothan comes together to share a little extra hope throughout our community during the holiday season.
Adopted
Bring an angel home for Christmas
Here’s how it works
Find an Angel
Choose an in-person Angel Tree or contact us if physical trees aren’t available. Here, you'll discover what your Angel wants and what they need. Angels are available to adopt from November 13 through December 9 at these locations: Dove Christian Supply, 3112 Ross Clark Circle; Crunch Fitness, 3850 West Main Street; Walmart South, 3300 S. Oates Street; Walmart North, 4310 Montgomery Highway; Glass Doctor of Dothan, 539 N. Oates Street; and The Salvation Army office, 1007 S. Bell Street.
Shop with Heart
Pick up a few things for your Angel. Whether it’s a favorite toy, something in his or her favorite color, a cozy outfit, a new pair of shoes, or a winter coat, every gift makes his or her Christmas Day a joyful one.
Drop Off Your Gifts
Return your Angel’s gifts unwrapped, bagged, and labeled with his or her name and family code at The Salvation Army Dothan Corps, 1007 S. Bell Street, Dothan, AL 36301 by December 11.
Let the Joy Begin
The Salvation Army will distribute gifts to the parents/guardians of the Angels in time to set up for the big day, helping bring a little more Christmas joy to a child and family in Dothan.
