Little Pine Island Camp is only seven miles north of Grand Rapids, Michigan—but worlds away from the typical experiences of the children we serve. Started in 1929, The Salvation Army engages over 800 kids each year with 7 weekly overnight camping sessions. Of our camper population, over 75% live below the poverty line and if not for our efforts, these same children would not be able to attend camp.

Carefully selected staff, well planned programs, and the highest standards of health and safety are top priority for The Little Pine Island Camp.

Serving children and helping to nurture their growth in healthy ways is a hallmark of The Salvation Army’s Little Pine Island Camp. For more information click here.
