Awakenings Foundation Donation to Salvation Army to be Presented at TobyMac Performance
$2,000 donation to support Salvation Army prison release aftercare program
ROSEVILLE, Minn. – Christian hip hop artist TobyMac will be presenting a check to The Salvation Army Northern Division during his March 7th performance at Target Center in downtown Minneapolis. The funds are being given by the Awakening Foundation to support The Salvation Army’s program that provides aftercare support to newly released prison inmates as they transition to a life after incarceration.
WHO: The Salvation Army Northern Division, TobyMac, and Awakening Foundation, brought to you in part by Awakening Events, KLOVE, Altrua HealthShare and Food for the Hungry.
WHAT: TobyMac, on behalf of the Awakening Foundation, has designated a $2000 gift to be donated to The Salvation Army Northern Division.
WHEN: Donation to take place on Saturday, March 7th, 2020 during his 7:00 PM performance.
WHERE: Target Center, 600 First Ave N, Minneapolis, MN 55403.
WHY: TobyMac, on behalf of Awakening Events, KLOVE, Altrua HealthShare and Food for the Hungry, is giving over $200,000 to local needs in 2020. The Salvation Army Northern Division will be receiving a $2,000 donation and our hope is that people catch the vision of small needs adding up to big differences. The Salvation Army Northern Division will be utilizing this donation to supplement their Aftercare Support program, a prison inmate re-entry initiative.
